It arrived scratched, chipped and dull. We stripped the case by hand, repaired every edge, and refinished it in satin ebony — the deep, flawless luster these instruments deserve. Few shops are trusted with a Steinway. It's the work we're proudest of.
The work
Every cabinet, panel and range hood in this estate kitchen was masked, sprayed and hand-finished on site to a factory-smooth sheen. The owners kept their layout — and got a brand-new kitchen for a fraction of a renovation.
Mid-build
From raw pine boards to a crisp, classical mantel with a slate surround — measured, built, primed and painted by hand to anchor the whole room.
This grand piano arrived worn, chipped and dull after decades of use. We repaired the case edge by edge and refinished it by hand in deep satin black — every step done in our Dover workshop.
